Best places to list an AI product in 2026

Not one list but eight, one per goal: the free ones, the links that count, the fast reviews, the biggest AI directories, the paid spots worth their price, the software review sites, where to launch and which newsletters to pitch. Every reason under a name is a fact from the place's own pages.

Questions about the picks

What makes a place "best" here?

What a founder gets, read from the place's own pages: a free way in, a link that counts (dofollow), a stated review time, and the size of the place by traffic and links. Within a kind, places sit in the catalogue's order; nobody pays for a spot on this page.

Should I pay for a listing at all?

Start with the free places: together they reach most of the audience. Pay for a spot where the traffic is the point (the busiest AI directories, a newsletter your buyers read) after your kit and your own pages are ready; paid links are mostly marked sponsored, so pay for visitors, not for search.

How often does this change?

Every place is re-read when its terms change or a founder reports a difference; the checked date is on each place's page. Last check 3 October 2026. Changes are logged on the changes page.
